Principal Software Engineer / Developer (Full Stack AI) WFH to £100k
Are you a full stack technologist with a strong interest in AI and prompt engineering?
You could be progressing your career in an influential role at a growing tech company that provides a range of resources to enable organisations to gain various ISO accreditations.
As a Principal Software Engineer you'll be responsible for investigating the possibilities of AI and automation to enhance the core platform and deliver improvements for customers. You'll be designing and delivering stand-alone AI projects, with a focus on demonstrating their value and laying the foundation for a broader AI strategy in collaboration with the Business Analyst and management stakeholders.
You'll remain hands-on, working across the full technology stack, coding scalable, secure and high-performance Perl on the backend, integrating LLMs and other AI technologies and establishing data processing workflows, through to creating engaging React and React Native user interfaces.
Location / WFH:
You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with the CTO around once a month in the London or Kent office.
About you:
- You have a strong knowledge of software engineering best practices across the full tech stack
- You have a strong understanding of AI, prompt engineering, LLMs and are keen to take on an investigative role working to establish and extend AI capabilities
- You have experience with Perl (or PHP) for backend development and are happy to use it going forward
- You have a good knowledge of user interface development using JavaScript, React or similar
- You're collaborative and have experience of working with business stakeholders and product teams to design and create new products
- You're naturally curious and continually learning
