Primary Teacher - The Lee

Start Date: September 2024

Supply Desk is seeking a Primary Teacher in The Lee area. We are searching for an individual who is passionate about teaching and capable of keeping a classroom engaged.

To be successful you must:

Have previous experience working in a school or in an educational environment
Have an updated DBS (this can be arranged if not up-to-date)
Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
Be open to Primary year groups
Have the confidence to be able to meet and work with new people in different environments and be able to deliver a lesson with various teaching techniques
Have a strong work ethic and a passion for teaching
Have good behaviour management and understand each pupil and their learning needs and how you can improve their progression and learning
Good knowledge of the national curriculum for primary pupils
Your role:

Experience in developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies to engage students and promote critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of culturally responsive teaching practices to effectively support students from diverse backgrounds and promote equity and inclusivity in the classroom.
Ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues to foster a strong sense of community and partnership in education.
Commitment to maintaining a positive and growth-oriented mindset, seeking opportunities for self-reflection, feedback, and professional growth to continually enhance teaching effectiveness.
Willingness to participate in school-wide initiatives, committees, and professional learning communities to contribute to the ongoing improvement of school culture and instructional practices
Planning clear and well-structured lessons in support of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
