Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager required for a manufacturer of high-pressure equipment including valves, regulators, pumps and hydraulic systems used in the Oil & Gas and Energy industries based near Manchester.

The Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new business and increasing sales with existing accounts across the UK. You will meet with new and current clients to present on high pressure equipment and build strong customer relationships.

The Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager will have prior experience selling high pressure equipment such as valves, regulators, pumps, hydraulic systems or similar products into the Oil & Gas or Energy industries. Ideally you will have a qualification in Mechanical Engineering such as a BEng / HNC / Higher National Certificate / HND / Higher National Diploma or other relevant experience.

This is a hybrid position that involves some travel across the UK to meet with clients. You will ideally be based near Manchester.

Package:

£50,000 - £60,000 Depending on experience

Responsibilities:

Develop new business and increase sales with existing accounts across the UK
Present on high pressure equipment which includes valves, regulators, pumps, hydraulic systems and other products used in the Oil & Gas and Energy industries
Develop and maintain lasting relationships with new and current clients to increase sales, growth and exposure
Liaise with the internal sales team to generate new leads and ensure all queries are dealt with in a timely manner
Generate detailed sales reports and expected sales forecasts
Responsible for the full sales process from the initial enquiry to completion
Hybrid role, based near Manchester
Requirements:

Prior experience as a Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager / Technical Sales Engineer / Sales Manager or similar position
Experience selling high pressure equipment such as valves, regulators, pumps, hydraulic systems or similar into the Oil & Gas and Energy industries
Ideally you will have a qualification in Mechanical Engineering such as a BEng / HNC / Higher National Certificate / HND / Higher National Diploma or other relevant experience
Live within a commutable distance to the main office based near Manchester
Hybrid role with some travel required across the UK
