We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automatic Door Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of automatic door operator systems and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work. This role involves working across London and the South East, providing exceptional service to a wide range of clients while contributing to the overall success of the Engineering team.

Duties

* Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of automatic door operators.

* Collaborate with the Project Manager and Planner to schedule work and produce completion paperwork.

* Conduct site visits to customer premises and active construction sites for installation and maintenance tasks.

* Perform site surveys.

* Respond to fault-finding call-outs.

* Contribute to project improvements as needed.

* Be available for out-of-hours and weekend work.

* Participate in identifying and resolving operational issues within the Engineering team.

* Work remotely from home while traveling across London and the South East.

Key Competencies

* Minimum 5 years of site experience as an Automatic Door Engineer.

* EN:16005 certification.

* Proficiency in working with automatic door operator systems such as Dorma, Record, Geze, Gilgen, G-U, and others.

* A sound understanding of the different types of electronic locking and how they can be integrated into door automation systems.

* Current BS EN16005 card.

* Part P certification would be advantageous.

* Valid CSCS card.

* Willingness to attend out-of-hours/weekend call-outs.

* Positive, enthusiastic, and flexible attitude.

* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

* Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

* Optional: ADSA certification and access control knowledge.

* Familiarity with health and safety practices.

* Ability to work under minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks.
