Anderselite is recruiting on behalf of a leading real estate services firm in Birmingham. We are seeking an experienced Associate Planner to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a commercially minded planning professional who is passionate about delivering successful outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise clients on planning strategies and the likelihood of obtaining planning consent.
Conduct research and produce high-quality client reports.
Manage and lead project teams, ensuring smooth and timely project delivery.
Prepare and submit planning applications, including Planning Statements and Statements of Community Involvement.
Negotiate planning conditions and obligations.
Prepare representations for local plans and policy consultations.
Research and submit planning appeals where necessary.
Support senior staff with planning inquiries, including preparing evidence.
Contribute to business development through tender proposals and client engagement.
Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Key Requirements:

Strong academic background.
Chartered Member of the RTPI.
At least 6 years of professional planning experience (consultancy experience preferred but not essential).
Passion for planning and a results-driven mindset.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Proven ability to manage projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
