To be considered for the role of Deputy Nursery Manager you will have: - A minimum of a Level 3 Childcare related qualification
- GCSE or equivalent English and Mathematics Grade C or above (if Childcare Qualification achieved after September 2014)
- Previous Early Year Management or Leadership experience
- Excellent knowledge of EYFS and OFSTED frameworks

The role of a Deputy Nursery Manager within the Nursery involves: - Deputising for the Manager in their absence
- Assisting with the day to day running of the Nursery
- Assisting with training and carrying out staff appraisals
- Keeping accurate records for both children and members of staff
- Leading daily and weekly meeting, alongside the management team
- Ensuring the Nursery is compliant with internal and external policies and procedures
- Developing good relationships with the Nursery team and external agencies
- Ensuring the highest level of care is being delivered
- Being responsible for a number of key children as when needed
- Ensuring there are good staffing levels and when needed assist with the recruitment process
