About the Role

Do you have expertise in land quality assessment and environmental management? This is your opportunity to develop and lead a specialised team, delivering environmental enhancements while safeguarding properties from flood risks across the UK.

You will play a vital role in projects such as land quality assessment, management and restoration, river and coastal engineering, habitat creation, and mine water treatment schemes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of land quality, remediation, and restoration projects.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop high-quality solutions.
Engage confidently with clients to manage project delivery and foster business development.
Prepare bids and proposals, ensuring a commercially astute approach.
Mentor junior team members, paving the way for team leadership opportunities.

What Our Client is Looking For

Essential Attributes:

Degree in geology, chemistry, environmental science, or a related field.
Chartered membership (or willingness to work towards) with a relevant body (e.g., Geological Society, CIWEM).
Proven UK-based experience in land quality management, remediation, licensing, and permitting.
Strong understanding of UK guidelines for land quality evaluation.
Expertise in site investigation, design, and CDM regulations.Desirable Attributes:

Experience in coastal, estuarine, and riverine settings.
Stakeholder engagement and working within a design-build environment.
Leadership, contract management, and mentoring experience.
