Position: Heead of Paraplanning Team
Reports To: Compliance Director
Location: Office-based in Worcester, with occasional travel to London and other UK locations

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

* Research & Analysis: Prepare review packs and advice reports using the firm's systems, ensuring timely delivery for financial planners.

* Team Management: Lead and manage a team of report writers, both experienced and trainees, ensuring work quality and adherence to company standards.

* Mentorship: Provide structured feedback to support team development.

* Record Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of client records.

* Planner Support: Assist financial planners within the firm.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

* Minimum Level 4 qualified, actively working towards Chartered status.

* At least two years of experience in paraplanning and team management.

* Comprehensive knowledge of financial planning, FCA regulations, and related legislation.

* Proficiency with Microsoft 365.

Desirable:

* Chartered Financial Planner (Level 6).

* Experience in audit, quality control, or compliance checking.

Personal Attributes

* Strong team player who can work independently.

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

* Friendly, professional demeanor with a sense of humor.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping skills.
