Key Responsibilities:
* Vehicle Driving: Safely operate a buses from the company's fleet
* Fleet Maintenance: Conduct basic vehicle checks, including monitoring fluid levels, tyre pressure, and vehicle cleanliness. Report any defects or maintenance needs to the fleet management team
* Route Planning: Follow pre-planned routes or adapt on the go to ensure maximum efficiency and timely deliveries
* Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and taking payment, ensuring a professional and courteous manner at all times
* Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations, company driving policies, and health and safety protocols
* Record Keeping: Accurately log vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or maintenance performed
Key Requirements:
* Full UK Driving Licence: A valid licence with category D
* Driving Experience: Proven experience in a professional driving role
* Knowledge & Training: Manual handling, first aid training and wheelchair securing knowledge
* Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, ensuring that deliveries and collections are completed within deadlines
* Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with both clients and team members
* Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and some weekends
