January startAcademics are supporting a lovely primary school seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Primary Teacher to work within their friendly and supportive team in Newcastle-under-Lyme on a supply basis. This is a part-time, fixed-term position covering 2 days per week from January until the end of the summer term. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about creating engaging learning experiences with a strong commitment to fostering a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in class
Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the curriculum and school initiatives.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom culture, promoting high standards of behaviour.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in primary education, preferably in Key Stage 1.
A strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
