We are seeking a talented Estimator to play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and competitive cost estimates for utility installations, including water, gas, electricity, telecommunications, and sewage systems. Key Responsibilities of the Estimator include:

* Evaluate project plans, specifications, and site conditions to determine scope and requirements.

* Develop detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and contingencies.

* Prepare and submit comprehensive tender proposals with accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQs).

* Ensure compliance with utility standards, safety regulations, and local codes.

* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to clarify scope and resolve discrepancies.

Required Skills and Competencies:

* Strong understanding of utility installation processes and materials.

* Proficient in interpreting construction drawings and performing material take-offs.

* Experience with estimating tools and advanced Excel skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, teams, and subcontractors.

* High accuracy in cost calculations and risk identification.

* Primarily office-based, with occasional site visits for inspections and data collection.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

* Minimum of 3-5 years in an estimating role within utilities or infrastructure projects.

* Relevant certifications in cost estimating or project management are preferred.

* Comprehensive understanding of utility installation standards and regulatory requirements.
