Position : Quality Manager

Location : Sheffield

Sector : Metals manufacturing, engineering

Salary : £45,000-£50,000 for quality only, to £55,000 for SHEQ

A hands-on Quality Manager role responsible for QA, QC, supplier quality and for managing 2 Quality Inspectors.

ISO 9001 experience is essential

Metals manufacturing experience desirable

Leading problem-solving processes (8D) with responsibility to trace all potential defects and contain them

Produce detailed root cause analysis such as 5-why, Ishikawa etc

Maintain Quality Management System (QMS) : includes filing system for all Quality matters for customer complaints, internal rejections, new product tracking, audit reports, supply chain records

Use of Sage for customer and product reports

Use of Vault where drawings are stored and revised

Focus is very much on the Quality Control and Quality assurance aspects and will offer c £45,000-£50,000. If you have Health, Safety and / or Environmental experience then we can push the salary to £55,000
