Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire - with excellent transport links
Position Type: Permanent - Full-time, 37hrs a week
Salary: £28,207 - £34,581 per annum
Pulse is working in partnership with a well-established hospice in Hertfordshire, dedicated to providing compassionate care to patients and their families during challenging times. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join their team.
This is no ordinary Hospice, with specialists in a wide range of areas - serving the community of North Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas. * New Frailty Service
* Inpatient Unit
* Rehab and Wellbeing
* Family Support Services
Responsibilities of the nurse:
* Provide holistic nursing care to patients in our hospice, including symptom management, pain relief, and emotional support.
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
* Support patients and their families during end-of-life care, ensuring dignity and comfort.
* Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patient responses.
* Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with colleagues and families.
Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC PIN.
* Experience in palliative care or hospice settings preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate, empathetic, and committed to providing high-quality care.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
