An Accounts Receivable team member is required in the Accounting & Finance department of a Business Services industry company, based in Dartford, Kent.

Description

• Manage and maintain the accounts receivable ledger
• Issue invoices and credit notes
• Conduct regular account reconciliations
• Ensure prompt and accurate cash application
• Correspond with customers by telephone and email to chase payment of outstanding invoices
• Liaise with clients to resolve any billing queries
• Prepare and deliver regular reports to management
• Collection of overdue payments from customers, following the credit control process
• Support the wider Accounting & Finance team as required
• Comply with all company policies and regulatory guidelines

Profile

A successful Accounts Receivable team member should have:

• Relevant educational qualifications in accounting or finance
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Held a similar job previously
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office - Including Excel (VLookups & Pivot Tables)
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Commitment to continuous professional development
