Venn Group Structural Engineer SC Clearance (eligible or active)2 year contract £75-£80 p/h (Inside IR35, Umbrella)Remote with occasional site visits in the South West (every 6-8 weeks)

Our client require a Principal Structural Engineer to join the team on a long-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring the delivery of the buildings designs by the subconsultants
• Ensure that systems are designed against a clear statement of compliance with defined requirements, including that the design meets the relevant HSE requirements
• Management of multidisciplinary design elements of  structures, ensuring design  technical performance and making appropriate technical responses
• Provide SME advice and Technical design guidance and review of overall design packages

Skills Required:

• Experience with major new buildings, preferably multistorey buildings with multi functionality (ideally within defence)
• Extensive structural engineering experience with this being the primary focus
• Relevant qualifications/chartership (min of BA in Engineering)
• Experience with Seismic Structural Design
