Interim Quality Assurance Auditor - Children's Social Care
3 Month interim contract
£400 per day
London, hybrid working
 
An urgent opportunity has arisen within a London Borough local authority for a Quality Assurance Auditor to support with Ofsted Readiness and practice improvement.
 
Brought in as additional capacity to ensure Ofsted readiness, the scope of this work will be to support the continuous development of social work practice, review the quality of current records and make recommendations through review of the case files.
 
Deadline for CV submission is by 1pm Wednesday 3rd July with a view to interview W/C 8th July.
 
About your role as Quality Assurance Auditor:

Conduct review of case files to ensure the outcomes records are up to date in line with Ofsted readiness
Ensure that the records and practice is compliant and in line with councils use of systems to include mandatory actions, assessments and plan are both effective & fit for purpose
Use tool to escalate/de-escalate as needed including highlighting examples of best practice
Work collaboratively with the Head of Service within respective service areas to ensure review of all casesYour required experience as Quality Assurance Auditor:

More than 2 years' experience at a minimum in audit role or experience demonstrating effective evaluation of practice including recommendations for improvement/feedback
Active registration with Social Care England
High performance management across statutory services - know what Good looks like
Strong analytical skills to managing data, reports and case files
Robust understanding and management of thresholds and safeguarding practice
