Reed Financial Services are looking for a Pension & Investment Administrator to join our team a Financial Services Firm at the head office in Horsham. This role is crucial in providing full administrative support to all advisers and colleagues, ensuring the delivery of Client Best Interest outcomes and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Provide full administrative support to advisers and colleagues.
  • Assist advisers with general queries and support the wider team as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, focusing on client best interest outcomes.
  • Support the team to ensure all advisers supply a fully compliant file before processing new business.
  • Enter all clients onto the back-office system and submit pension and investment applications to providers.
  • Chase providers on the progress of business and update clients on workflow progress.
  • Prioritise workload to meet deadlines and chase client authorities with insurance companies.
  • Scan all documents to INVU or Intelligent Office and issue documents to clients, including post-sales letters and plan schedules.
  • Produce ongoing service reports for adviser’s client meetings with all supporting documentation.
  • Add clients signed up to ongoing service to Mailchimp for publications.
  • Maintain continual professional development and skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an administrator within the financial services industry, particularly with investments and pensions.
  • FA1 – Life Office Administration is essential.
  • Desirable qualifications include FA2 Pensions Administration, CF1 UK Financial Services Regulation and Ethics, RO1 Financial Services Regulation and Ethics.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, and database applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, and time management.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of financial services providers and products.
  • Previous working knowledge of the Insurance/Financial Services Industry is essential.
