About this Position:

We are seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to join our Integrated Project Team (IPT), working on the development of next-generation Electronic Warfare and Radar systems. This role requires strong systems engineering expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines.

Job Responsibilities:

* Lead a multi-disciplinary team to develop requirements, models, and system architectures.

* Contribute to the architectural vision and support long-term capability roadmaps.

* Apply System-of-Systems and product development approaches to ensure project alignment.

* Engage with customers and stakeholders to capture system needs and constraints.

* Conduct trade space analysis to inform key high-level design decisions.

* Define functional and behavioural system aspects and derive requirements at all levels.

* Work with the Project Manager to estimate project costs and explore alternative solutions.

* Provide mentorship and coaching in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Systems Architecture.

* Support design reviews and provide technical consultation across projects.

Experience Required:

* Strong experience in requirements management, definition, and apportionment.

* Proficiency in DOORS at a specialist level.

* Familiarity with EW, RF systems, and radar system design.

* Knowledge of Atlassian tools, Cameo Systems Modeller, or MATLAB.

* Experience working across engineering disciplines and understanding system specifications.

* In-depth knowledge of systems engineering processes, lifecycles, and verification methods.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in multidisciplinary teams.
