Senior Windows Infrastructure Engineer (Wintel Engineer) - SC Cleared

Location: Barrow-In-Furness | 5 Days On-Site

Rate: Open For Discussion | Inside IR35

Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required

Contract: 6 Months

We're currently working with a client of ours to recruit for an experienced Senior Wintel Engineer to join an existing, established Wintel team working into a technical defence client based in Barrow-In-Furness.

Responsibilities:

• Change Implementation
• Access Control Management
• AD Management
• DHCP Management
• Administration
• User Administration
• High Availability/Cluster Administration
• Emergency and Critical OS Patch Management
• OS Maintenance & Break Fix Support
• Direct Attached Storage (DAS) Management
• Operating System Backup and Recovery
• Hardware, Firmware and Driver Updates
• Problem Resolution
• Documentation

Essential Experience/Skills:

• Windows Scripting, PowerShell
• Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
• Active Directory
• Network troubleshooting/configuration
• VMware, vSphere, vCenter
• Experience of developing infrastructure as Code solutions
• Experience of Hardware support
• Experience of OEM
• Understanding of CI/CD Principles
