Hours: Full time preferable but also open to part time

Our well-established client is the expert in their sector and are currently seeking a Finance Manager/Accountant to join their friendly team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, directors and will be responsible for undertaking all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and the preparation of Management accounts. This role would be well suited to an experienced financial professional seeking a new challenge.

Key responsibilities:

• Undertake all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and the preparation of management accounts
• The Finance Manager will ensure all invoices are raised and sent to customers accurately
• Ensure invoice are paid on time
• Credit control
• The Finance Manager will ensure proper and accurate bookkeeping
• Complete and submit VAT returns
• Ensure payroll, staff pensions and PAYE is processed and in line with HMRC requirements

Skills and Requirements:

• The successful Finance Manager will have a qualification in Bookkeeping/ Accounting
• Knowledge and proven experience of Accounting and Bookkeeping
• Practical experience of using Microsoft, Excel and Sage 50
