Do you have experience of supporting students from Primary to College age with ASD/SEMH/Challenging behaviours?

If the answer is Yes, then we could be offering you the opportunity to work within an school based in Wigan. The Provision provides a bespoke curriculum to young people who are not able to access mainstream education. Students have a range of SEND including Social Emotional & Mental Health, Moderate Learning Difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Pupils may display challenging behaviour, so excellent behaviour management is essential with knowledge of a range of de-escalation techniques.

Requirements:-

* Experience within SEN (Ideally SEMH / ASD- challenging behaviour).

* Experience in a school/care/residential setting.

* Be able to work (phone number removed)pm Monday to Friday

* Be able to use own initiative and want to help students progress.

* Be willing to be flexible.

Additional requirements:

* References confirming suitability for role

* Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service

* Eligibility to work in the UK
