7.5 Tonne Driver

Here at HireGiant we are looking for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Spondon, Derby.

This thriving company focuses on deliveries of their products and some 3PL deliveries to clients across the UK. There is a possible opportunity for the 7.5 Tonne Driver to be placed on long term hire should they complete their work without infringements and accidents.

The Role:

The 7.5 Tonne Driver will be required to deliver some palletised goods using a pump truck, there may be on the odd occasion companies that will unload you with a forklift. On the wagon you may also have some small boxes to go with the overall delivery, these must be delivered with care by hand. The work starts immediately and involves making up to 10-15 local deliveries/collections of goods on either a curtain side truck or box trailer wagon. 7.5 Ton experience is needed due to the nature of the work, along with 7.5T Driver experience, you must also be competent with strapping a load securely to follow HSE and driver regulations.

Requirements for this role:

The 7.5 Tonne Driver will require:

Cat C1 entitlement on their licence
Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card
Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest

The hourly rate for this 7.5 Tonne Driver role is:

£13.65 - £14.45 - per hour Monday to Friday PAYE to start
