Express Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with one of the East Midlands longest established Electrical Contractor firms. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking to appoint a Electrical Thermal Installation Engineer to join their team!

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to be joining an accredited, long-standing company with 50 years industrial knowledge behind them!

Please note, although a lot of the work is based in the Midlands, some of the installation projects involve working away for up to 2 weeks at a time, depending on its scale and complexity. Please only apply if you are fully flexible with this working arrangement.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm. Overtime is available weekly, which will be paid time and a half on weekdays, and double time on weekends. Basic salary per hour pays up to £17 per hour depending on experience.

In return, you will also receive a company van, fuel card, uniform, pension, regular training, and generous holiday package.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Apply heating insulation materials to surface claddings, pipes, vessels, tanks, and ductwork

* Install relevant trace heating systems in order to control heat loss or gain of equipment

* Fit and install a wide range of frost, noise, fire, and temperature protection

* Attend customer sites commissioning and installing systems

* Plan insulation in line with building layout diagrams

* Ensure all electrical installations comply with IEE 18th edition regulatory standards

Skills & Experience

* Previous experience within a similar role, ideally time served Heating Engineer

* Holder of City & Guilds 2361 Electrical Installations highly desirable

* Part 1 & 2, AM2 qualified desirable

* Holder of 18th edition essential

* Safety Passport & IPAF Certificates highly desirable

* Flexibility with working hours & occasional overnight stays up to two weeks

* Full UK's driver license
