Ashton Recruitment require a 7.5 Tonne Driver for our highly successful client based at Nutts Corner. You will be required to assess delivery points and secure the safest delivery route.

Position: 7.5 Tonne Driver

Location: Nutts Corner

Duration: Temporary (Permanent vacancies may become available based on performance)

Rate of Pay: £12.30 increasing to £13 per hour after successful training period

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - occasional weekend work needed, start times vary between 5am to 7am

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Safely loading and off-loading vehicles
• Operating a 7.5t vehicle to make deliveries to various locations including schools, hospitals, office, warehouses and private homes
• Unpacking and delivery to room of choice
• Removing all packaging and assembling as required
• Collecting, wrapping and securing old copiers
• Using stair robot and other manual handling equipment
• Providing exceptional customer service when delivering goods
• Reporting any missing or damaged goods immediately
• Adhering to assigned delivery schedule
• Filling in all paperwork accurately and in a timely fashion

Essential Criteria:

• Valid UK Category C Driving Licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph
• Able to deal professionally with both clients and customers
