1:1 Teaching Assistant - About the Role

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide personalized support to a pupil with special educational needs, helping them to overcome challenges and access their learning potential. Collaborating with teachers, SEN staff, and parents, you will play a key role in fostering a positive and engaging educational experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Offering tailored support to a pupil with specific learning or behavioral needs.

* Assisting the class teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

* Encouraging social interaction and fostering independence.

* Monitoring and documenting the pupil's progress and adapting strategies accordingly.

* Promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all pupils.
