Salary: £40,000 per year.
Overtime: Time and a half for the first 4 hours and double time thereafter (daily).
Work-life balance: 40-hour work week (08:00-16:30) with no excessive hours.
Holidays: 22 days plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day every 5 years of service. Holiday pay includes average overtime after probation.

Key Responsibilities of the Mobile Plant Mechanic:

As a Mobile Plant Mechanic, you will:

Diagnose, service, and repair a variety of plant machinery, ensuring equipment operates at peak performance.
Provide exceptional customer service by delivering on-site solutions and building strong client relationships.
Work on hydraulic systems, transmissions, and electrical systems common in heavy plant machinery.
Complete all service and repair documentation with precision.
Take part in training programmes to enhance your skills as a Mobile Plant Mechanic.

About You:

Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in construction, HGV, or agriculture heavy plant machinery servicing and maintenance.
Experience: A strong background in hydraulic systems, transmissions, and plant or heavy machinery.
Skills:

Excellent teamwork and the ability to work independently.
A proactive problem-solver with a logical approach to tasks.
Flexible and adaptable to changing environments.

Licence: A full UK driving licence is essential for a Mobile Plant Mechanic.
