Employment Advisor

Our local authority client seeking an Employment Advisor to join their Economic Development and Skills team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping individuals overcome barriers to employment and supporting them on their journey into sustainable work.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-to-one employment advice, support, and coaching to job seekers.

* Identify and address barriers to employment through tailored action plans.

* Deliver job search support, CV writing assistance, and interview coaching.

* Work closely with local employers and stakeholders to create employment opportunities.

* Support job seekers under Individual Placement and Support (IPS) and Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) models where required.

* Maintain accurate records and track client progress in line with funding requirements.

What We're Looking For:

* Experience in employment support, recruitment, or careers guidance.

* Strong understanding of the benefits system and challenges faced by job seekers.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet performance targets.

* IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
