The Role - Primary Teacher - Lewisham

Ensure that all areas of the primary curriculum are covered
Manage a class of primary school students and be responsible for their progress
Create a positive learning environment in the classroom by organizing learning resources and creating displays that encourage students to learn
Developing a plan, preparing materials, and presenting lessons that meet the needs of all the students within the class with a wide range of ability
Assist pupils with the preparation and marking of their work in a positive way
Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment for all pupils by implementing all child protection and safeguarding measures in accordance with the policies of the school and the federal government
Provide feedback on a pupil's progress to parents and carers at parent's evenings and other meetings in relation to their child's progress
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, as well as assist colleagues in delivering this specific area of the curriculum
Assist other teachers, teaching assistants, and other relevant professionals in planning and coordinating work with the class
It may be necessary for you to meet with other professionals such as education welfare officers and educational psychologists if necessary.
