SEN Learning Support Assistant - West Norwood, London

We are actively looking for experienced and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistants in the West Norwood area, London, to provide essential support to students in a school or college setting.

Role Details:

Position: SEN Learning Support Assistant
Pay Rate: £15 per hour
Location: West Norwood, London
Hours: Full-time or part-time opportunities availableKey Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Assist students in developing their academic, social, and personal skills
Support classroom teachers with the delivery of tailored lesson plans
Ensure the safety and well-being of students during activities and breaks
Help with behavioural management strategies and provide emotional support as neededRequirements:

Valid DBS check issued within the last 3 years (or be willing to obtain one)
Previous experience working in a school or college environment, particularly supporting SEN students
Knowledge of SEN needs and strategies to support learners with additional needs
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students
