Nursery Manager
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our new childcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and educational environment for children. Nursery Manager Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
* Manage staff, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high standards of care and education.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, addressing concerns and providing updates on children's progress.
* Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote learning through play.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of early childhood education practices.
* Monitor children's development and wellbeing, conducting assessments as necessary.
* Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community.
Qualifications
* Work experience Nursery: 1 year (required)
* Licence/Certification: Level 3 in childcare (required)
* DBS
* Proven experience in a nursery or childcare setting, with a strong understanding of early childhood education principles.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and staff.
* Experience working with children in various capacities is essential.
* A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is desirable but not mandatory.
