BDS are recruiting for an experienced Extra Care Registered Manager to work within an Extra Care Retirement Living Service based in Hammersmith.
We are looking for an experienced professional from a Registered Care background to work within this fantastic property which hosts 60 apartments for older adults from a variety of backgrounds. The service currently deliver around 800 hours of care with capacity to do further so someone with experience of running a large service is essential!
Residents range from living independently to managing disabilities and mental health issues so someone confident who has worked with clients from a variety of additional needs also ideal.
We are looking for someone caring, compassionate and is happy to go the extra mile to provide an amazing experience for everyone across the board.
To be considered for the role you must have the following;
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent (Essential qualification or must be willing to undertake this qualification on appointment to the role)
* Significant practitioner and/or management experience, skills and knowledge in one or more of the following areas;
Services for older people/people
Residential day or community services for older people
Extra Care or Home care services for older people
Prevention or re-enablement services for older people
Experience of supervising and managing a small team, ideally within an organisation providing Social Care and / or Social Housing
