Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Authority, who are looking to recruit an experienced  Social Worker to join their team based in Somerset   JOB DETAILSPAY RATE:  £41,511 - £46,731 per annumWORK TYPE: Permanent WORK PATTERN: Full TimeLOCATION: Somerset   JOB SUMMARYThe Supervising Social Worker to support foster carers and children in foster care. They ensure that children are safe and well cared for, and that foster carers are meeting the needs of the children. JOB DESCRIPTIONThe duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Working with foster carers and families to ensure that children are comfortable and making progress in their new homes
• Conduct Regular Assessments of children   

  THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATEThe successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Relevant Qualifications, with a registered body in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing and experience of working in a Health or Social Care setting
• Experience working in Fostering / children social care 
• Completed ASYE
