We are partnered with a leading roofing contractor based near Preston. Our client operates in the commercial, public and industrial sector across the North West. They offer a range of cladding, roofing and complementary services, including panel system installation, fascia and soffit work, installation of roof-lights. With a great team culture that thrives on collaboration and success they have the opportunity to add an experienced Estimator to their commercial division with a salary circa £40,000.

Estimator Position Overview

Estimator based near Preston, North West
Manage the incoming tenders into the business
Complete site surveys and inspections to complete tender packages
Price both the company generated enquiries as well as incoming tenders
Prioritise with the Sales team
Work to agreed objectives as set out in the company business / sales plan
Submit tender submissions at agreed margins with the timescales set out within the tender documents
Produce a weekly report to include value, %, market, material of submissions including ongoing conversion rates to the MD
Work to agreed sales objectives

Estimator Position Requirements

Roof estimating experience is essential
Experience working with sub-contractors
Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Estimator
Team player and ambitious
Full driving licence
Strong IT Skills
