White Label Recruitment are currently working exclusively with one of our key clients. Our client offers a bespoke and specialist service and maintenance solution for fairly niche products within industries such as Automotive and renewable. They are leaders in their field and given how bespoke their services are they are one of only a few companies in the UK.

As the Technical sales engineer, you will be responsible for meeting with new and existing clients to sell service and repair packages as well as maintain existing relationships with established customers.

It is important that you are confident in engaging with new clients to form new relationships. This role consists of some travel where you will be required most weeks to stay at least 2 nights away from home. 80% of their business is done below Birmingham so ideally a candidate from below Birmingham, however this is not a deal breaker.

Key Responsibilities of the Technical sales engineer:

* Selling special works items as well as service and maintenance contracts.

* Replacement parts and upgrades

* Energy monitoring/saving systems

* Upgrade solutions

To be successful in this role you will have:

* A Mechanical or electrical background (Ideally Machinery or renewables industry knowledge)

* The Ability to read technical drawings

* The skills and experience of bringing on new clients

* Experience maintaining relationships with current clients

* Experience selling into OEM's and manufacturers

* Knowledge of control systems

This is a vital role for the growth of the business so it is important that the successful person has the relevant skills and experience in sales, as well and engineering, we would be looking for a minimum of 2 years within the industry with a proven track record of delivering results.

You will be working in an energetic and highly motivated team so we are looking for someone who would fit in well with the existing team.

* Annual salary up to £50,000 (DOE) plus a great commission structure
