We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor Teacher to join our middle school in Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about education and looking to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners. The school has good transport links which means if you do not have a license it does not matter. We are able to give excellent daily pay rates with the cover. The contract for this role will last until minimum January 2025 with a permanent position potentially on offer after review of performance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise classes ensuring pupils remain on task with the work set by the teaching staff.

* Maintain classroom discipline and follow the school's behaviour policy.

* Support students with their learning, answering questions, and providing guidance where needed.

* Report any issues or concerns to the relevant staff, including safeguarding and pastoral issues.

* Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and leadership to create a positive learning environment.

What We're Looking For:

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting.

* Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.

* Adaptability and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

* An interest in education and a desire to support students' learning.

* No formal teaching qualification is required, but experience in a similar role is beneficial.

* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
