Company: DG PARTNERSHIP LTD

Job Type: Permanent, PartTime

Salary: £42,000 - £60,000 per annum

Data Governance Consultant - £42,000 - £60,000 p.a. (dependent on experience) plus discretionary bonus - London (Remote)

The Role

Are you skilled at establishing and managing data governance frameworks? Do you have the experience to guide organisations in enhancing their data management practices? If so, Anmut could be the perfect opportunity for you!

We have built a strong and diverse team of management consultants and data professionals over the last few years, and we are now looking to recruit highly motivated, talented individuals to join our team.

As a Data Governance Consultant, you will work on complex client projects, focusing on the principles and practices of data governance. You will coordinate with client data owners and members of the delivery team to establish robust data management competencies.

Location: Remote or Hybrid with regular meetings in Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds. We also have an office in central London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the formation, implementation and management of data governance frameworks, policies and standards
  • Implement and establish wider data management competencies within organisations (such as data quality assurance, metadata management, master data management, data modelling, and development of data standards and data strategy)
  • Be responsible for understanding, capturing and advising on the management of client data risks and issues.

The Company

Anmut is a Data Asset Management Company. Our purpose is to help our clients understand the value of their data assets; the business value they support; and the business opportunities they enable through the better use of fit for purpose data to make more informed decisions. But, like any asset, a data asset must be properly designed, built, managed, maintained and operated to be fit for purpose and valuable. Only then can organisations start to see return on data and digital investment and change the way they operate.

Benefits:

  • A team-first culture based on trust, respect, and care.
  • Monthly development reviews and flexible career paths.
  • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements.
  • Potential for equity and access to a range of benefits, including private health insurance, enhanced parental pay, and financial advice.
  • A cycle- and run-friendly central London office, with opportunities for remote work across the UK.
  • 25 days of holiday.

The Person

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Work independently, making impactful decisions and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and monitor data governance frameworks across the data life cycle, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Lead continuous monitoring and improvement of data governance structures within large organisations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build capacity and capability for data governance.
  • Advocate for data governance policies and ensure they are applied across all levels.
  • Communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Approach problem-solving analytically, with a keen awareness of risk, security, privacy, and ethics.

We want to continue building a diverse team, so if you do not exactly meet our role outlined below, or are looking for a part-time role, but feel that you would be a good fit, please apply anyway! Every application is reviewed by our team and we're always looking to evolve our understanding of what a great candidate looks like.
