Our client is a leading Membership Organisation / Professional Body working across the travel / travel insurance space.

Coming with an understanding of financial services / financial products and in particular Insurance, our client is looking to hire an Account / Product Manager where you will grow, maintain, influence and oversee our client's Insurance / Travel Insurance products in B2B and B2C markets.

Our client is a leading Membership Organisation / Professional Body with a history of expertise in supporting the travel industry.

Description

To be suitable for this role, you'll need to be ambitious, have a good understanding of insurance, including FCA's regulations, have a flair for spotting opportunities to grow the sales leads, and have the maturity to take responsibility for the product, including communicating our client's progress to senior internal business leaders. An understanding of marketing financial products digitally would be desirable.

  • Be the product expert for our client's insurance and travel money products and the go-to for any queries internally or externally about the products
  • Analyse the success of the products against KPIs and targets, with regular meetings with the suppliers to keep performance on track and to ensure fair value for customers
  • Ensure the quality of the product is maintained, and any customer complaints are actioned swiftly with successful outcomes
  • Proactively identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities and support the delivery of any product change
  • Manage the delivery of actions from board reviews, product reviews and audits
  • Build up relationships with our client's members to promote the products, win new business and manage the lifecycle of the contracts
  • Work closely with marketing departments and external agencies to ensure the products are marketed in the right way to achieve targets and KPIs
  • Attend events and conduct presentations when required to promote the products

Profile

You'll ideally have a strong knowledge of the insurance industry, the value chain and regulatory requirements / best practices, along with the following:

  • Product or commercial management experience, ideally in Insurance / Financial Services
  • Drive, enthusiasm and proactivity to succeed in a fast-paced commercial environment
  • Have demonstrable stakeholder management skills and be a good negotiator - you will enjoy the responsibilities of Account Management
  • Be highly organised with exceptional attention to detail when it comes to Project Management
  • Commercially astute and the ability to analyse data, including forecasting against budget
  • Relevant knowledge of marketing products digitally is desirable

Job Offer

Our client is looking to pay £45k with a 10% bonus the details of which are to be discussed at interview.
