Teaching Assistant (SEN)

TimePlan Education is seeking a caring and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistant to join the amazing team at a Barking and Dagenham primary school.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be joining a dynamic team of educators. The senior leadership team has created a very positive working environment where all staff members are encouraged to contribute their ideas, experience and expertise. Staff are supportive and band together to assist each other whenever possible. The school has worked hard over many years to ensure that the schools is very community oriented and have established wider community connections to enhance the learning opportunities for all pupils.

Level 3 TA qualification is essential and previous work experience with children with special education needs is desirable. The school is looking for someone who is keen to make a difference and is able to build a strong rapport with some of the livelier characters in the school. A sense of humour and the ability to be flexible when needed will bode well in this role.

Teaching Assistant position:

• Level 3 teaching assistant or health and social care qualification is essential
• School located in Barking and Dagenham
• Start date: November 2024
• Daily rate up to £110 per day
