HealthNet Homecare are specialists in delivering homecare services for patients, from medical deliveries to nursing support for patients in their own homes.

Working with over 180,000 patients across numerous different therapy areas, our dedicated team offer support to patients with rare and orphan diseases right through to more common conditions. We are looking for a Business Analyst/Application Support to join our busy Projects Team in supporting the Internal IT team and wider business by scoping requirements across the business where IT changes or projects have been highlighted for consideration. To provide appropriate scoping and change documentation to deadlines and feedback openly and honestly. To offer support for our range of digital tools, both internally and externally. To provide excellent customer service and a positive team attitude towards your colleagues.

We are looking for individuals with excellent communication and requirement gathering skills to enable us to deliver high quality changes and projects for our customers, patients and colleagues! You will also need to have experience using digital portals and mobile apps, to offer support to our internal and external users.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To act as the primary liaison (within IT and to the business) for project and change request scoping
  • Interact with people (both internal & 3rd party support providers) to facilitate the various BA works.
  • To produce well-structured and effective documentation and communication in line with scoping standards of current and future desired state.
  • To work on multiple projects and change requests at the same time to the deadlines set with strong time management skills.
  • To support various project works where required, alongside the IT Projects team
  • To support users of our digital tools by demonstrations, creating user guides and helping to troubleshoot reported issues.
  • Travelling between our sites in Featherstone and Swadlincote where appropriate.
  • To read and comply with all communications from head office and others to ensure necessary actions are undertaken for the pharmacy and customers.
  • To maintain good housekeeping.
  • To carry out any reasonable requests given by appropriate persons.
  • Know the Company strategy and make sure what you do on a day-to-day basis is in line with the strategic objectives.
  • Ensure the work you do is of a high standard and HealthNet's procedures and policies are followed at all times.
  • Engage in personal professional development and attend mandatory training.
  • Present the Company in a positive way at all times with internal and external clients, customers and staff.
  • Comply with the Company's HR policies and the Health and Safety policy at all times.
  • Work flexibly and efficiently in order to meet internal and external customer needs, whilst maintaining the highest possible professional standards.
  • Bring new ideas and approaches with an open mind.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security at all times.
  • To understand, identify, receive, and report all adverse events, product quality complaints and other reportable patient safety events in compliance with pharmacovigilance regulatory and contractual requirements (Training provided)

What experience and skills are we looking for?

Desirable

  • Previous experience within a BA or application support role.

Essential

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in using IT systems and digital tools

Qualifications

  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide range of people both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to construct professional written communications.
  • Working to deadlines on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Complying with patient confidentiality and data protection protocols

  • Computer literacy including experience using MS Office and other software for reporting and requirement gathering.
