We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Manager to oversee our data management processes and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of our data assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management and SIMS/Arbour.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data management strategies to optimise the use of data across the organisation.
• Oversee the design and maintenance of our data warehouse, ensuring it meets business needs.
• Utilise SIMS for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights that can inform business strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Lead projects involving big data initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data management, with a strong understanding of big data technologies.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL for database querying and manipulation.
• Familiarity with SIMS is essential.
• Experience with Tableau or other visualisation tools is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is desirable.
