Waking Nights Care Worker (Residential Childcare)
Location: Reading
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, 21:30 PM - 07:30 AM (Monday - Sunday, as per rota)
Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Waking Nights Care Worker to support vulnerable young people in a therapeutic environment. You will provide practical and emotional support, encourage meaningful relationships, and assist with daily care and home upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support young people in line with their care plans
- Serve as a positive role model, maintaining high personal standards
- Foster the development of meaningful relationships
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to home maintenance
Ideal Candidate:
- Willing to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour constructively
- Minimum 23 years old
