Key Responsibilities: - Assist primary-aged students with severe learning difficulties and complex autism in their daily activities and learning.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and other professionals to implement Education Care Plans and behaviour management strategies.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic growth of each student.
- Provide individualised and small group support, adapting to the unique needs of the students.
- Work with school staff and parents to ensure a comprehensive approach to the child's development and well-being.
Qualifications and Experience: - Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in SEN settings.
- Experience working with primary-aged students with severe learning difficulties and complex autism.
- Relevant qualifications or training in supporting students with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for making a positive impact on children with diverse needs.
