A secondary school in South Bristol are looking for experienced SEND TAs to join their team. There are permanent and fixed term, full time and part time contracts available. These are term time only and to start as soon as possible or after October half term.

The school caters to students from Nursery through to Sixth Form and is part of wider trust of schools in Bristool. The Trust comprises Primary, Secondary, all-age schools and a Special school with 3,500 pupils and 700 staff. This academy provides an exceptional environment for students and staff. We are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to join an exciting and committed team of support staff that are already at this school.

We are seeking a dedicated individual who will contribute to a wide range of teaching and learning activities and assist and support the work of qualified teachers. Please note the role will also involve working 1-1 and with small groups of children as part of the class team.

The successful candidate will have:

• GCSEs at Grade C or above in English and maths (or equivalent qualifications).

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent relevant to a Teaching Assistant role

• Experience of working effectively supporting children in a learning environment.

• Understanding of principles of child development and learning processes and barriers to learning.
