HSE Advisor
Working Hours: 40 hrs per week (Mon - Fri) 9am Start Time
Pay Rate: £200 per day
Contract Length: 2 months
Key Resonsibilities:
* HSE Advisor ensures the effective management of Health & Safety across the Region, duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Compliance with HS&E legislation and VINCI Facilities health, safety and environmental requirements
* Interface, communicate, liaise and maintain effective relationships with the Site teams
* Produce reports, as directed by the HSE Manager and identify remedial action, monitor effective implementation
* Undertake Investigations, as directed by the HSE Manager, produce reports and identify root cause and learning
* Monitor HSE standards across the Contract, identify and implement improvement activities
* Review risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work
* Deliver training, as directed by the HSE Manager
* Manage own work allocation to ensure that the Business Unit/Region allocated receives regular site visits/inspections based upon risk
* Undertake Subcontractor/Supply Chain Audits as required
* Provide a reactive response to incidents, as directed by the HSE Manager coordinate incident response from HSE perspective
* By example, provide visible leadership on HSE, actively encouraging and developing managers within the Region to do the same
Key Skills
* NEBOSH General
* Security clearance- Must have lived in the UK for a number of years
* Will require own car to move between sites. These are based throughout the region
