What you'll do:
As a Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analysing financial data and supporting the company's strategic direction. You will be responsible for creating financial models, reporting on financial performance, and working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting. Your insights will guide cost analysis processes and help optimise business performance. - Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support
- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
- Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimisation
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Analyst position brings a wealth of experience in financial analysis or a similar role. You must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA or equivalent). You must have advanced Excel skills including Macros (will be tested) and understanding / interest in SQL/Python/Tableau. Etc. You should have strong knowledge of financial forecasting, information analysis and statistical analysis. Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills are also key to success in this role.
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
- Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments
- Advanced Excel (Macro) and SQL or Python or Tableau
- Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
- Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
