Are you a skilled and passionate Registered Manager ready to lead a well-established residential childcare home? Our client, a highly respected provider of care for children and young people, is seeking a Registered Manager to oversee their 4-bed home in Newark-on-Trent, specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and rated GOOD by Ofsted.

About the Role:

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the home's high standards, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations, and fostering a safe and nurturing environment where children can achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

Lead, motivate, and manage a dedicated team to deliver exceptional care.

Promote professional development and high morale among staff.

Operational Oversight:

Ensure the effective day-to-day running of the home.

Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to optimise operations.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

Maintain compliance with Ofsted and all statutory requirements.

Conduct regular reviews and implement action plans to ensure continuous improvement.

Child-Centred Care:

Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to the needs of the children.

Prioritise safeguarding and promote the well-being of every child.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a residential childcare setting.

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

Strong understanding of EBD and safeguarding practices.

Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.

A commitment to delivering outstanding care and improving outcomes for children.
