Interaction Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working alongside a reputable and well established client in their search for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their team in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.

This is an extremely vital role within the team, where the successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic insight and supporting decision making, along with supporting various parts of the business from a finance perspective.

Typical duties primarily include:

Providing financial advice and expertise to department heads
Producing regular, accurate and comprehensive Management Accounting information, including analysis and commentary
Financial reporting information, notes, schedules and analysis for consolidation into annual financial statements
Lead preparation of budgets and forecasts in line with strategic plans and financial forecasts
Hold regular review meetings with senior staff members
KPI Management
Produce regular project and capital accounting financial information
Prepare monthly update of cashbooks and bank reconciliations
Preparation and submission of statutory returns, including VAT returns, CIS returns, ONS returns
Other duties to support the team
Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following skills and experience:

Fully Qualified CCAB Accountant
Previous experience in a similar senior finance roles within a complex environment
Proven track record with supporting and influencing decision making
Experience in writing and presenting formal written plans, business cases and reports
Excellent analytical and report writing skills
IT Literate, including Excel up to advance standard
Excellent communication skills
Highly organised and able to work to deadlines
