An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and dynamic SEN Teacher to join our Alternative Provision in Eastleigh. Our mission is to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment where every young person can achieve their full potential.

This is a great opportunity to join an alternative provision that specialise in supporting young people with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, social, emotional, and mental health needs, and other complex challenges. With small class sizes and a person-centered approach, they deliver tailored education programs that promote both academic and personal development.

The Role:

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of students.

Support students in developing their confidence, independence, and resilience.

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.

Contribute to the development of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate professional who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Has experience working with students with SEN, ideally within an alternative provision or similar setting.

Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Is proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous professional development.
