Toro Recruitment is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Highways Site Manager to join a leading organisation operating within the utilities and infrastructure sectors. This role involves overseeing high-profile projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Operating primarily in the Greater London area, this position offers an excellent chance to be part of a progressive and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities of a Highways Site Manager:

* Oversee a variety of infrastructure projects, from initial planning through to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.

* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

* Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site staff, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications and quality standards.

* Monitor project finances, including cost control, forecasting, and budget adherence.

* Liaise with stakeholders to provide progress updates and resolve any project-related issues promptly.

Skills and Qualifications

* Proven experience as a Site Manager in highways, utilities, or construction projects.

* Relevant certifications, such as SMSTS/SSSTS, NRSWA Supervisory, and First Aid.

* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage diverse teams.

* Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

* Proficiency in project management tools and software, including Microsoft Office.

What the Role Offers

* A competitive salary package starting at £47,500-£50,000, with potential to increase post-probation to up to £52,000.

* Full-time, permanent role with 42.5 working hours per week (Monday to Friday, 7:30 am-5:00 pm).
