Role: Legal Secretary

Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (OFFICE BASED)

Salary: up to £24,000 per annum

Benefits: 20 days holiday + bank holidays, Christmas shut down - paid for and pension.

Duties:

* Prepare correspondence/ documents via audio-typing and word processing

* Manage daily filing, opening/ closing, storage, and retrieval of client files

* Handle mail, enclosures, and copying tasks

* Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain the principal's diary

* Set up and clear conference rooms; provide refreshments

* Support other secretaries and guide junior staff

* Attend to clients professionally in person and on the phone

* Maintain confidentiality and assist with reception/ postal duties when needed

About you:

* Experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role

* Audiotyping experience

* Fast, accurate typing skills and the ability to work with legal documents

* A natural multitasker who can handle busy workloads while maintaining accuracy

* Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues confidently
